  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1½ cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine 9 cups Rice Chex cereal, 2 cups pretzel twists, 1 cup salted peanuts, and 1 cup candy corn. Toss gently to distribute.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine 1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate chips, ½ cup creamy peanut butter, and ¼ cup unsalted butter. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth and glossy (about 90 seconds total).
  4. Stir 1 teaspoon vanilla extract into the melted chocolate mixture.
  5. Pour the melted chocolate mixture over the dry ingredients. Fold gently with a rubber spatula until every piece is evenly coated.
  6. Spread the coated mixture onto the prepared baking sheet in an even layer. Let cool at room temperature for about 10 minutes, until the chocolate is set but still slightly tacky.
  7. Transfer the mix to a large Ziploc bag. Add 1½ cups powdered sugar, seal the bag, and shake vigorously until everything is coated in white.

Notes
