Creamy Starbucks Pumpkin Cream Cold Foam Copycat Recipe

A thick, velvety, and perfectly spiced pumpkin cream cold foam that tastes better than the original Starbucks version. This easy copycat recipe comes together in under 5 minutes with simple ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree (100% pure, not pumpkin pie filling)
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons milk (whole milk preferred, or oat milk for dairy-free)
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla syrup (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 pinch salt
  • Optional: cinnamon for garnish
  • 1 cup cold brew or strong iced coffee
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes and pour in 1 cup of cold brew or strong iced coffee, leaving about 2 inches of space at the top.
  2. In a small bowl or jar, combine 2 tablespoons pumpkin puree, 1/4 cup heavy cream, 2 tablespoons milk, 2 tablespoons vanilla syrup, 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice, and a pinch of salt. Stir gently to break up the pumpkin puree.
  3. Using a milk frother, blend the mixture for 20-30 seconds until thick and pourable, like melted ice cream. It should hold soft peaks but still be liquid enough to pour.
  4. Slowly pour the foam over the back of a spoon held just above the coffee surface to create a layered effect.
  5. Dust with cinnamon or extra pumpkin pie spice if desired. Serve immediately with a straw.

Notes

For best results, ensure all ingredients are cold. The foam is best enjoyed immediately but the base mixture can be refrigerated for up to 2 days. If you don’t have a frother, shake vigorously in a sealed jar for 30 seconds. For a dairy-free version, use full-fat coconut cream and oat milk.
