These crispy air fryer buffalo chicken dip wontons are quick, easy, and perfect for party snacks. They combine a spicy, creamy buffalo chicken filling with a crunchy wonton wrapper for an addictive bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or finely chopped (rotisserie chicken works great)
  • ½ cup buffalo sauce (e.g., Frank’s RedHot)
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup ranch dressing
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2430 wonton wrappers
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, finely chopped (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon butter or olive oil, melted (for brushing)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded cooked chicken, buffalo sauce, softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped green onions (if using). Mix until well blended and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Lay out wonton wrappers on a clean surface and keep covered with a damp cloth to prevent drying.
  3. Place about 1 tablespoon of filling in the center of each wonton wrapper using a teaspoon or small scoop.
  4. Lightly moisten the edges of each wrapper with water. Fold the wrapper over the filling to form a triangle or pouch shape, pressing firmly to seal all edges tightly.
  5. Brush each wonton lightly with melted butter or olive oil and place on a baking tray.
  6. Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) if needed. Arrange wontons in a single layer in the basket without touching. Air fry for 7-9 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Let wontons cool for 1-2 minutes before serving. Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping.

Notes

If you don’t have an air fryer, bake wontons at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through. Keep wonton wrappers covered with a damp cloth to prevent drying. Avoid overfilling to prevent leaking. For dairy-free or gluten-free versions, use appropriate substitutes. Reheat leftovers in air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for 3-4 minutes to restore crispness.
