  • 12 ounces white chocolate chips or melting wafers
  • 1 teaspoon refined coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • Green gel food coloring (optional)
  • Red decorating gel or jam (optional)

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Lay out pretzel rods to see how many you have (about 20-24).
  2. Place white chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals at 50% power, stirring after each, until smooth (about 2 minutes total).
  3. If using, add a tiny dab of green gel food coloring to the melted chocolate and stir until even.
  4. Hold a pretzel rod by one end and dip it into the melted chocolate, coating about two-thirds. Let excess drip off, then place on prepared baking sheet. Repeat with remaining pretzels.
  5. While chocolate is still wet, press a sliced almond onto the tip of each pretzel rod to form a fingernail. Use a toothpick to adjust if needed.
